Eduardo Souto Moura
Architect · Porto, 1952
Architect by Higher School of Fine Arts, Oporto. He works in collaboration with the architect Álvaro Siza Vieira.
Professor in Faculty of Fine Arts in Oporto, Faculty of Architecture of Paris-Belleville, Architecture Schools in Harvard and Dublin, ETH in Zurich, School of Architecture in Lausanne.
In 1995 he was elected Grand-Officer of Infante D. Henrique Order and in 1999 was made Grand-Officer of Merit Order.
He is Honorary Doctorate by the Faculty of Architecture and Arts of Lusíada University in Oporto and also by the University of Aveiro.

1995 - International Award of Stone in Architecture for the House in Braga, Verona Fair.
1996 - Annual Award by Portuguese Section of the International Association of Art Critics.
1998 - Finalist of IBERFAD Award with “Santa Maria do Bouro” Inn.
1º. Prize on the I Biennale Ibero-American with Santa Maria do Bouro Inn. Pessoa Award/ 98.
1999 - FAD Award, “Ciutat i Paisatge” with the Project “Oporto Subway”.
2001 - Heinrich-Tessenow Award – Gold Medal.
2002 - Finalist in the III Biennale Ibero-American of Architecture and Civil Engineering, “Casas Pátio” in Matosinhos.
2011 - Pritzker, Award by Hyatt Foundation of Chicago.

1º Prize, for the construction of Story Houses by Paula Rego.
2013 - Wolf of Arts, Award.
