Inês Lobo

She set up her own studio in 2002, after working exclusively at the studio of the architect Carrilho da Graça between 1990 and 1996 and in a studio with Pedro Domingos in 1997. A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon in 1989, she has taught Design Project ever since and is currently a visiting professor on the architecture course at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa.

Since it was founded, the studio has developed projects across different fields of work, from the construction of public facilities and housing to the regeneration of buildings and public spaces.

The work developed in the studio is based on continuous joint reflection by specialists and authors from the most varied fields, who guarantee, at every stage of each project, a broad, plural and concerted view of all the issues involved in the construction of that territory.

1998 - 2002 - First prize in several public competitions: Amphitheatre Block at the University of the Azores Campus, Ponta Delgada.

1998 - Chancellery and Residence of the Portuguese Embassy, Berlin.

2000 - Parque das Camélias, Porto.

2014 - arcVision Prize: Women and Architecture.
