Fortress Belt

Rehabilitation and interpretation project for a Spanish line of fortifications built to protect against the French fleets. Constructed during the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, it stretches from Antwerp, in Belgium, to the provinces of Zeeland and North Brabant in the Netherlands.

It includes benches, shelters, panoramic stairways and bicycle racks. The aim is to preserve cultural heritage and historic roots, protect the surrounding nature and increase the tourist and economic potential of the region.
