ALBA - brand centenary

One hundred years ago, Augusto Martins Pereira, after earlier professional experience on the mainland, in the U.S.A (Boston) and in the Azores, settled in Albergaria-a-Velha, registering the ALBA brand shortly afterwards.

The strong sense of social responsibility, along with the creativity and quality that set his company apart, left a lasting mark on two municipalities: Sever do Vouga, his birthplace, and Albergaria-a-Velha.

Today the brand is managed by Larus, a company created by his great-grandson and widely recognised, in Portugal and abroad, as an example of the discerning use of design.
