Outdoor benches with in-house design, manufactured in Portugal
The outdoor benches we develop are designed for public space: parks, squares, riverfronts, pedestrian areas, historic gardens and municipal facilities. Each model comes either from in-house development or from working with leading architects and designers, which shows in the formal coherence and quality, in the quality of the materials and in the durability under intensive use. Our catalogue includes more than 40 models, in configurations with backrest, without backrest, low-wall, double and modular, adaptable to different urban contexts and scales.
We work with cast iron, steel, concrete and FSC Kambala wood, or others, materials selected to meet the demands of public space:
- resistance to prolonged exposure;
- low maintenance;
- aesthetic and functional integration in the context of each project.
Cast iron benches combine a metal frame treated with metallisation and enamel paint with slats in sustainably sourced wood. Concrete models suit contexts that call for robustness and permanence. Steel and wood benches, in turn, sit well in contemporary or historic gardens and in spaces of either urban or rural character. We also offer models in recycled materials, part of the Ecocircular line, for projects with defined sustainability criteria.
Some outdoor benches are available with an optional solar strip, a solution that integrates induction charging, LED lighting, SIM card connectivity, GPS location and user counting, for municipal projects that want to build digital infrastructure into their street furniture.
Many of our models are part of lines that include litter bins, planters and tables in the same formal language, achieving greater visual coherence in the space without resorting to different suppliers.
All models can be adapted in size, finish or configuration and we work directly with architecture practices, local authorities and developers on customisation projects that start from the catalogue or develop solutions from scratch.
