Urban litter bins with in-house design, for tidier cities
A litter bin that is well placed and correctly sized reduces the amount of waste on the ground and makes street cleaning easier. Design matters: a litter bin that fits into its setting is used more than one that clashes with the environment around it. That is the premise behind our catalogue, which includes more than 30 models of litter bins and waste separation bins for installation in public space.
The catalogue is divided into three typologies:
- simple litter bins are intended for mixed waste and are available in different capacities, suited to contexts with higher or lower user flow;
- waste separation bins allow waste to be separated into multiple fractions, with pictogram signage and identifying text on each opening; some models are available in indoor and outdoor versions;
- some models incorporate an integrated ashtray, a practical solution for busy thoroughfares where both needs coexist.
In terms of materials, we work mainly with treated steel and treated cast iron for the exterior and recycled plastic for the inner collection containers, an option that reduces environmental impact without compromising the durability of the pieces.
Waste collection is by tipping system or by door, depending on the model, to simplify cleaning and maintenance for urban cleansing teams.
Many of the models are part of street furniture lines with benches, tables and planters in the same formal language.
All models can be adapted in finish or configuration for specific urban projects.
